Unravelling Thanksgiving
Curator of Emigration Liam Corry explores the tradition of Thanksgiving and unravels its history.
Discover a traditional Thanksgiving at Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh with music, storytelling, food, crafts & family fun to start your festive season.
Join the Partridges of Slippery Rock in our Western Pennsylvania Log House as they prepare their turkey dinner and eagerly await the return of their only son Joseph, an infantryman in the Union Army. This performance will be taking place several times throughout the day so you've multiple opportunities to catch it. You can also sample traditional Thanksgiving food, try your hand at American games and enjoy live music.
As we head into the festive season, you'll also have the chance to get creative with Christmas craft activities - make your own decorations to take home, or help us decorate the Folk Park for Christmas!
