Archaeological Excavation Mellon House at the Ulster American Folk Park
Interested in taking part in a major archaeological dig? This October a major archaeological dig will take place within the Ulster American Folk Park. Facilitated by Queen’s University Centre for Community Archaeology and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, members of the public, schools and community groups are being invited to take part. This is a unique opportunity to be part of uncovering historical artefacts and exploring the rich history of the Mellon House and its surroundings.
Volunteer sessions are taking place from 13:00 to 15:30 on the following dates;
8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th & 16th October
