IMPORTANT EVENT NOTICE
Saturday and Weekend ticket holders and attendees
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Bluegrass Omagh last month. Below sets out important information for Saturday and Weekend ticketholders and provides guidance for those who feel they were impacted by the tragic road traffic incident that happened on Saturday 24 May, which significantly impacted access for some visitors to Bluegrass Omagh that day.
Our sympathy and thoughts remain with the family and friends of those involved and we truly appreciate your patience and support as well.
- Whilst we endeavoured to run as much of the planned programme as possible on Saturday, following Police advice and prioritising the safety of attendees already on site, we ultimately had to adapt our evening schedule which was, regrettably, outside of our control.
- The Saturday daytime programme and the Sunday and Monday of the festival were unaffected and went ahead as planned.
- If you were affected, whether by the road closure preventing attendance or by the change to the programme, we understand how disappointing and unfortunate the whole situation is.
- If you have a query relating to your ticket, please get in touch with us within the next 21 days from the date of this notice (Tuesday 3rd June 2025), emailing [email protected] with your booking reference and ticket type, specifying ‘Bluegrass Omagh’ in the email title, so we can prioritise reviewing your message.
We are dedicated to dealing with all enquiries, which may result in a delay in our response time. We are working diligently to respond to all queries as quickly as possible.
We truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we deal with these unforeseen circumstances.
A LOOK BACK AT BLUEGRASS OMAGH 2025
The bluegrass festival has been on the go for 30 years now. It is a great fit for the Folk Park, which documents the long history of emigration from Tyrone to America in the 18th and 19th centuries. [...] I wouldn’t expect anything else in Tyrone. The music showcased is as timeless as the Ulster American Folk Park site.
