Discover the magic of a traditional Christmas at Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh.
Wander through the wintry streets of Ulster decorated for the festive season, from the humble single-room cabin to the indulgent Christmas of the Hughes House. Meet Mrs Mellon and taste traditional Christmas cake or take a horse and carriage ride around the Folk Park (if weather allows).
Children can get hands-on with festive crafts, play with wooden toys, follow the Christmas bauble trail and write a letter to Father Christmas. Visit Mrs Claus' Bakery for warmed apple punch and mince pies, and look out for Captain Mummer’s performance, celebrating one of the oldest Christmas traditions of rural Ulster.
With marshmallows to toast, paper chains to make, and horse and carriage rides, there's plenty of festive family fun.
Stroll down American Street as it comes alive with festive cheer. Enjoy the smells, flavours and decorations that shaped the modern holiday season and find out how European settlers influenced Christmas.
Don’t forget to stop by Maker Café for hot chocolate and festive treats, and pick up last-minute gifts in the museum shop!

Please arrive any time between 10:00 and 14:45 on your chosen day. The Ulster American Folk Park will close at 16:00. When confirming your ticket purchase, please ensure that you have chosen the correct museum and ticket types as tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Planning a visit during weekdays in December? The Folk Park will be decorated for the season, and you can learn about Christmas traditions, write your letter to Father Christmas, follow the Children's Bauble Trail, see a traditional Christmas card display and taste Christmas cake.
Please note, Christmas Tickets do not include a visit to Father Christmas. You can book tickets to visit Father Christmas below. Father Christmas tickets includes access to the whole museum before or after your visit to Father Christmas so there is no need to book additional Christmas tickets.
