Woodbine

Woodbine have been together since 2002, playing gigs and festival’s all over Ireland! The band have played all the Irish Bluegrass Festivals over the years & several Roots Festivals.

Woodbine concentrates on the vocal end of bluegrass music with 3 lead vocals and tight harmony. The band is built around Tony O Brien, rhythm guitar/lead & harmony vocals, Liam Wright, lead guitar/lead & harmony vocals and Nicola Kennedy, up-right bass/lead & harmony vocals.

Over the years, they've been joined by different 5stg banjo and mandolin players, and at present Gerry Madden one of the finest mandolin players in Ireland is their 4th member.
