The Honey Dewdrops
Superlative duo, The Honey Dewdrops, blend folk and acoustic Americana with dashes of bluegrass and country, enchanting audiences with their exquisitely performed music. You'll find gorgeous vocal harmonies and outstanding musicianship on acoustic guitars, clawhammer banjo and mandolin from the duo.
Although undeniably steeped in folk, bluegrass and old-time country music, The Honey Dewdrops gracefully encompass both traditional and contemporary in their unique sound. Laura's voice in particular is one of the finest ever heard, while Kagey displays a classic "high lonesome" voice, as well as being an inspired harmony singer.
Hailing from Virginia, Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish settled in Baltimore in 2014 and have released six albums to date, including 2022's Light Behind Light. They have been touring for over 10 years, performing at festivals and venues throughout North America and beyond. The Honey Dewdrops were warmly received during their first visit to the UK in 2019 (including at their Celtic Connections festival debut) and were set to return in 2020 before Covid-19 intervened!
