the henry boys | bluegrass omagh 2024

The Henry Boys are father and son Colin and James Henry. Colin has been part of the Irish Bluegrass community for longer than he cares to remember going back to the first Omagh Bluegrass festival and beyond. He is one of Ireland’s leading dobro players.

James his son has, needless to say, been hearing bluegrass music all his life. He is accomplished on both banjo and guitar and has been one of the select young musicians to participate in the Acoustic Seminar in Savannah Georgia. He has also been a student of Bela Fleck at Brevard, North Carolina.

The Boys will be joined at Omagh by John Savage a talented and experienced bluegrass bass player.
