What is Bluegrass Omagh?
We're the largest bluegrass music festival outside of North America, taking place at Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved with an incredible music event that has strong ties with the local community. The Bluegrass Festival has run for 30 years, showcasing masters from USA, Australia and Europe including from across the UK and Ireland.
Volunteering at our music festival
Volunteering for Bluegrass Omagh is a great way to support this exciting local event. You'll gain a unique insight into what goes into delivering a music festival all while gaining skills, meeting new people and most important of all - having fun!
We're looking for people who have excellent communication skills, are great team players, can work on their own initiative and are enthusiastic about good customer service.
There are so many ways you'll be helping out such as;
- Meet and Greet
- Orientation
- Surveys / Feedback
- Map and Programme hand out
- Wrist Band allocation
- Queue Busting at Front Reception / Activity Areas
- Manning Craft activity areas / Assisting with Games and Races

Important information
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 5 hours, and we have various shifts available.
- Volunteering is for 18+
- Please note, this role can sometimes be physically demanding and you may be on your feet all day.
- We will provide a meal as well as reimburse agreed travel expenses in line with our volunteer policy
